- PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following
Culinary Specialist E-6 position:

CS1 00038357 USCGC MOBILE BAY FSO STURGEON BAY, WI - IAW Ref (B), Phase 3 Candidates are defined as members who are
marked “Recommended” and “Ready” on their most recent Enlisted Employee
Review and meet all time in grade and time in service requirements for
the following year’s SWE. Assignments will be made in accordance with Ref (A). - Report date OOA 01 SEP 2024.
- Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct
Access NLT COB 31 JUL 2024. Commands shall address all required endorsements,
IAW Ref (A). - Members applying for this A2P solicitation shall notify their
XO or the first E-7 in their chain of command of their
intention to compete for this assignment prior to the eResume
submission deadline listed in paragraph 4. - Members in Special Assignments may apply to this position.
However, these members must receive a command endorsement addressing
backfill requirements. Commands should be aware that immediate backfills
for Special Assignments are not available and will incur a gap at their
unit until AY25. - E6s in receipt of AY24 PCS orders may not apply to this position. E6s
desiring to fill the above position who are not tour complete are
eligible to apply and will have priority over those E5s who do apply.
However, these members must receive a command endorsement addressing
backfill requirements. Commands should be aware that immediate backfills
are not available and will incur a gap at their unit until AY25. - A2P may be used to fill this position if a candidate meets the criteria
in ref (B). If a qualified E5 is selected, the member will advance
to E6 IAW Ref (B), if all other advancement requirements
are met and the advancement recommendation is maintained. - As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). If updates to the OMPF
are needed, members can work with their local Personnel & Admin office.
